if you’ve been following us for a while, you know we don’t move out of panic. we move with intention. but intention doesn’t mean pretending everything is smooth. the last year tested us. operational disruptions. funding gaps. warehouse transitions. systems that didn’t scale when we needed them to. it was steep terrain. and yet, we’re still here.
this week, we’re doing something different. not because we’re collapsing. because we’re choosing to rebuild in public. instead of waiting on funding that may or may not come, we’re turning to the people who have always carried this brand: our community. here’s what we’re doing.

this isn’t a gimmick. it’s our way of saying: if you show up for us now, we’ll show up for you next time too. gift cards are issued once delivery is confirmed. orders must ship successfully to qualify.
level 2: made-to-order restock

these are made-to-order. that means production only begins once we hit our minimum goal. our goal: 1,000 total orders. why 1,000? because that’s what it takes to responsibly manufacture at scale without putting the business further at risk.

pre-order items ship approximately 6 weeks from confirmation that we’ve met our goal. confirmation will be sent by friday, february 20th. pre-orders are final sale. if you order in-stock and pre-order items together, your full order will ship when pre-order items are ready. if you want in-stock items immediately, please place separate orders.
we’re being extremely clear because clarity protects everyone.
why we’re doing this
let’s be honest. Black-owned brands are often celebrated loudly and funded quietly. we have been courted. we have been advised. we have been told to shrink margins, dilute formulas, and compromise control. we chose not to. so instead of bending to capital that doesn’t understand long-term brand building, we’re inviting community capital. not donations. not charity. participation. if we hit our goal, we secure production, stabilize operations, and continue building independently. if we don’t, we refund pre-orders and keep recalibrating. either way, we move transparently.
this week matters
this isn’t fear-based. but it is real. we need to bring meaningful revenue in the door. we need to prove momentum. we need to show that community-backed brands can survive without surrendering ownership. if you’ve ever loved what we’ve built, this is the moment to lean in.
